Who is Paul Foote?

Paul Foote is a landscape artist
born and bred in Westport (Buller)
on the wild west coast of New Zealand’s
south island. Here the spectacular
coastline, abundance of lush native forests,
pristine rivers and snow clad mountains
has inspired Paul to paint the local, scenery.
Paul’s home and studio is based over the
Southern Alps in Christchurch.
His regular tramping expeditions
into New Zealand’s backblocks
provide the inspiration for him to
paint the more out of the way landscapes.
